INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION AND OPEN BIDDING AWARD AS CATEGORISED BELOW FOR FY 2010/11
Bidders are invited for pre-qualification from competent firms, companies and individuals for various services, works and supplies.
Bids are also invited for Open Domestic Bids for Local Annual Revenue Collection/management for the Financial Year 2010/11.
A) SUPPLIES(Pre-qualifications):

Conditions for Prequalification/Bidding:
1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with PPDA Act, 2003 and
LG(PPDA) Regulations,2006
2. The following Documents must be attached (as applicable);
Certificate of Incorporation/registration
Memorandum or Articles of Association for Limited Liability
Company or partnership deed for partnerships
Identity/Voter’s Card and evidence of a bank account for sole proprietors
Valid trading license/ Operational permit
Original/Certified copies of Income Tax clearance certificate
Business physical Address and all other necessary contacts
(Telephone and Fax numbers)
Passport size photographs of directors for companies, photographs
for partners, photographs for sole proprietors
General receipt (Original) acknowledging payment of Bid Fee
Evidence of relevant equipment (where applicable)
Details of Bankers and current financial status (Attach Bank statement
or audited books of accounts)
Evidence of past experience
Evidence of key staff especially for consultancy services
Each service must be applied for separately
3. Bidders for Category D (Revenue Management) should indicate
the name, village, parish, Sub county of the particular revenue
point/centre and the Monthly revenue quotation for each bid.
4. Details of Local revenue points/centers can be obtained from the
respective Sub county and/or the Procurement and Disposal Unit
Notice-Board.
5. Bid documents should be obtained upon payment of a non refundable
fee to the District Cashier of Ug.Shs. 50,000 for Categories
A, B and D and Ug.Shs 100,000 for Category C from the
Procurement and Disposal Unit, Kisoro District Local
Government between 8:30am and 5:00pm on working days.
6. A pre-bid meeting will be held for all intending applicants on 10th
June, 2010 in the District Council Hall starting at 10:00am.
7. Proposals/Bids each in 3 copies sealed in envelopes clearly
rebelled according to the activity intended for prequalification/bidding,
should be addressed and delivered to the Head,
Procurement & Disposal Unit, Kisoro District Local
Government by 16th June, 2010 at 12:00 noon and bid opening
will take place shortly after at the District Council hall in the presence
of applicants who choose to attend. Kisoro District is not
bound by any bid.
Please take note that late proposals/bids shall be rejected.
